Formal prerequisites
A BSc/ BEng in Engineering, Telematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar is required. Applicants should also have passed some courses at university level in calculus, statistics, programming, operating systems, discrete mathematics and logic, computers, networking and algorithms.

Applicants with a citizenship from outside the Nordic countries must apply through the Office of International Relations at NTNU.

Important dates for the 2012 intake (study start: August 2012)

• October 2011: Start of the application period.
  
• December 1st 2011: Deadline for submitting the preliminary application (online application).
  
• August 2012: Students admitted to the Master in Telematics for the 2012 intake will start their first semester.

Applicants who have a Norwegian or Nordic citizenship should apply through the Admissions Office via SøknadsWeb.

Mathematics requirement
Students admitted to the MSc in Telematics are required to have passed at least 30 ECTS in mathematics or statistics.
